  Manufacturing Control Supervisor

  • Effectively communicates, collaborating with both internal and external customers to optimize manufacturing capacity.

  • Key team member in determining “Make” or “buy” decisions for all quotes.

  • Responsible for all expediting activities and C-130 Expediting team.

  • Provides direction and oversight for development of operation work instructions and program scheduling

  • Supervises and provides technical leadership through all facets of Bill to Material requirements to meet company and customer response dates.

  • Provides formal and informal reporting on plant inventory and manufacturing plan adherence.

  • Coordinate work flow and keep projects on schedule.

  • Monitors production orders or schedules to ensure product(s) are manufactured and scheduled delivery dates are met in order to plan department operations.

  • Will have further responsibilities that entail the oversight management of inventory levels for both, raw materials and components to ensure Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) system dictates are validated and complied with and finished product inventory min-max levels are actively maintained to meet normal customer demands.

  • Administer and conduct direct report performance evaluations.

  • Review government contracts for exceptions.

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on business needs.

  • Provides required ESH and other training to department employees.

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in Manufacturing &/or Production Operations.

  • Experience with MRP systems

  • Experience Leading

  Desired Skills:

  • Strong technical skills - Manufacturing & Mechanical

  • Must be organized, motivated, flexible and a clear-sighted problem solver, comfortable delegating responsibilities

  • Must possess sound communication skills

  • Knowledge and proficiency in MS Office – EXCEL, WORD, Power Point, Outlook

  • Strong blue print reading skills (ECNs, DCNs, PS, ECOs)

  • Strong interpretation of processes and specifications of manufactured parts.

  • Working knowledge of tracking, inventory control and planning/scheduling systems: JDA and SAP

  • Working knowledge of Solumina

  • Knowledge of Lockheed-Martin and government specifications

  • Familiarity with CAPPS, QADS, DIMS, EDW, EDMS, JDL, PDM, HAYSTACK, PDS sheets

  Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

  Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

  Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
