About Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer - Early Career - Orlando, FL

  Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking an emerging Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to support one if the world's most advanced missile programs.

  JASSM Algorithms Team supports a variety of new development and sustainment activities across several missile variants. The JASSM Program is in the process of developing a disruptive new missile variant called AGM-158D. A guidance engineer will support the design and implementation of Use Case I capability.

  Basic Qualifications:

  - Bachelor's in STEM field with coursework, research, or work experience related to Guidance, Navigation, and Control topics

  - 0 to 2 years of experience

  - US Citizen

  Desired Skills:

  - Experience with Algorithm Development

  - Experience with IFS and System Level Testing

  - Familiarity with Guidance Laws

  - C++ Programming Skills

  - Requirements Traceability Skills

  - Team Player able to work well with others

  - Excellent Communication Skills

  Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  Clearance Level: Secret

  Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

  Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

  Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
