Description We are looking for a dedicated Business Analyst to join our team in the Energy/Natural Resources industry. Based in The Woodlands, Texas, this role involves analyzing and structuring business requirements, procedures, and problems to improve business processes through automation and business process re-engineering. With a focus on configuring system settings and options, planning and executing testing, and evaluating the impact of system changes, this role offers a contract employment opportunity that is both challenging and rewarding.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and structure business requirements to improve business processes through automation and business process re-engineering

• Configure system settings and options in accordance with corporate policies and best practices

• Plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing

• Evaluate the impact of system changes introduced by customizations, interfaces, patches, updates, and upgrades to ensure timely, effective, and efficient delivery of corporate systems

• Provide consultation and support to end users as an escalation point from Tier 1 support

• Coordinate and collaborate with dedicated offshore testing resources

• Leverage skills in Atlassian Jira, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, Informatica, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, and Design to perform duties effectively. Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of Atlassian Jira

• Have experience with Database management

• Prior exposure to EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in conducting Gap Analysis

• Familiarity with Informatica

• Ability to conduct AB Testing

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology

• Understanding of Business Process Functions

• Experience in creating Business Requirement Document

• Have a strong background in Design

• Proven track record in the Energy/Natural Resources industry

• Ability to work as a Business Analyst

• Strong problem-solving ability

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
