　　We, the Global Manufacturing Operations team in Amazon Devices and Services division, are responsible to manage our Contract Manufacturers (CM) factories to produce our device products that meet Amazon’s high standards of demand, schedule, quality and cost. We strive for higher efficiency, better quality and lower cost in manufacturing and we use the most advanced technologies in this industry to achieve them.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　The Manufacturing Automation Engineer Intern will be part of our team with following key job responsibilities:

　　Work closely with Senior engineers and Subject Matter Experts to review the design of manufacturing automation solutions.

　　Support the validation, debug, optimization and improvements for manufacturing automation machines and systems.

　　Participate in the future automation solution development.

　　Travel domestically to manufacturing sites as projects required

　　We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

　　Shenzhen, 44, CHN

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Graduate between Nov 2024 to Sept 2025, currently working towards a Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation (or similar fields).

　　Work 3 to 5 days per week for at least 5 months.

　　Open for domestic business trip.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　CET-6 or Excellent in read/write; good verbal English is a big plus.

　　Hands-on project experience for automation or machine design and build up. Need to explain what’s the function of the machine, and how he/she make it happen.
