JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Plant Clinical Operations will be the Business Lead / Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Ford Motor Company's Corporate Medical Staff. The role will assist in leading, managing and optimizing the business aspects of the US Clinical plant operations under the direction of the Corporate Medical Director. Will work with the physicians in the U.S. Ford Motor Company plants to implement the nurse staffing model across plants and address plant hiring requirements based on a specific set of guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll do...
You will coordinate the following on behalf of Ford Motor Company's (FMC) Corporate Medical Staff:
Assist in leading, managing, and optimizing the business aspects of the US clinical plant operations under the direction of the Corporate Medical Director. Will work with all U.S. FMC's plants to address their hiring requirements based on a specific set of guidelines - implement FMC's newly created nurse staffing model across the plants. Work with Finance, Human Resources, Talent Management, Manufacturing, etc. to get full alignment on all key business objectives/initiatives.Create reports to review at the appropriate senior level meetings (i.e., headcount status - open/closed positions, overtime reports, external medical expenses, training status, medical equipment, etc.) Develop and implement consistent business methods and processes across all of FMC's U.S. plants.Become extremely knowledgeable with Ford Motor Company's UAW National and Local Contracts - and how the contract language can impact the overall business. Identify opportunities to implement new efficiencies and identify/incorporate those efficiencies into the next UAW contract.Manage and track required training materials for all U.S. plant nurses based on their specific classification / role.
This role will have an early focus on developing an appropriate detailed timeline and action plan. As we build our team, we will be focusing on a culture of excellence and collaboration where we work together to exceed our customer/corporate expectations.
In this role, you will travel locally 2-3 days a week and at least 1 day a month outside of the Michigan area.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree Business or Nursing5+ years of automotive or similar experience - in particular: a Product Development and/or Manufacturing organizationExcellent data analysis skills5+ years of experience developing and implementing business methods/processes.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
