As a valued member of the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation, the Boat Rental Manager is responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient management and administration of all aspects of facility operations including employees, equipment, and patrons. Job responsibilities include supervising and training employees including assigning and explaining duties, preparing work schedules, submitting payroll, managing money including cash register operations, completion of financial reports, and enforcing safety standards/emergency procedures. The Peace Valley Boat Rental is open weekends only May through the middle of June and seven days a week from the middle of June until the end of August when it goes back to weekends only through Labor Day. CPR/first aid and boat safety training will be provided. Boating experience is a plus, but not necessary. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers, school staff members, retirees, or college students with experience in a supervisor's role.
