The Manager, Site Selection Group, will play a leading role in the development of the strategic vision for Walbridge’s Real Estate Services Group, Site Selection services offering. Responsibilities
This role is responsible for leading the development of the service offering and responsible for business development, sales, negotiations, and the successful execution of the offering. With the addition of the Site Selection Service offering, this position will play a key role in the growth and development of the Walbridge Real Estate Group. This individual must have the ability to listen and understand the business needs of our clients and can identify , analyze and prioritize multiple sites based on workforce resources, demographics, geography, regulatory compliance, construction, supply chain management, utilities, logistics, taxes, incentives negotiation, etc. In addition, this individual needs to have the ability to evaluate the various alternatives to help clearly understand decision tradeoffs and assist the client to make the best choice possible for their operation’s future growth.
Other re sponsibilities include:
Relationship development and management of various State and Regional Economic. Development agencies, decision makers and Associations. Including those teams supported by regional utilities and railroads.
Building and development of regional teams which can provide required engineering, constructability and budget support services.
Create, lead and manage the entire RFI and RFP process.
Make recommendations based on a sound understanding of the key attributes of site selection decision making.
Continuously monitoring and updating available real estate data to identify real estate options.
Stay current with local market conditions and trends.
Coordinating cross functionally with other stakeholders in support of Enterprise mission.
Qualifications
4 year degree or equivalent combination of professional training and experience.
5+ years' experience in real estate transaction management, site selection consulting, business locations services, brokerage or equivalent.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and assist in the production of highly professional proposals and presentations.
The individual must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experience.
Must have excellent communications, negotiations and computer skills.
Ability to travel up to 60% based on business needs and projects qualifications.
