Description Robert Half is looking to fill a Senior Accountant position on a permanent basis in the Seguin, Texas area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. 　　Your responsibilities

　　Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required

　　Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

　　Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

　　Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

　　Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations

　　Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

　　Partake in various department-wide initiatives

　　Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

　　Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. Requirements - Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

　　Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

　　Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

　　Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

　　Monthly Financial Reporting experience highly valued

　　General familiarity with Month-end Reports

　　Demonstrated knowledge of General Ledger System

　　Good understanding of external reporting

　　Month-end Close Activities experience highly desired

　　External communication experience highly preferred

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Month-end Journal Entries

　　Command of Client conversations

　　Earlier work involving External Financial Reports

　　Experience with Monthly Financial Reporting

　　Comprehension of Prepare Financial Reports

　　Adeptness in Month-end Financial

　　Adeptness in general ledger

　　Expertise in bank reconciliations

　　Background working with External Filings

　　General familiarity with Intuit Lacerte

　　Daily Reconciliation experience highly desired

　　Client reporting experience preferred

　　Proficiency in Credit Card Reconciliation

　　Practical knowledge of Perform Month-end

　　Client communications experience

　　Hands-on experience with financial reporting

　　Practical knowledge of Intuit Lacerte

　　Prior experience with account reconciliation

　　Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience desired

　　Foundational knowledge in Expense Reconciliation

　　Client management experience

　　Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience preferred

　　Previous experience working with External Reporting Requirements

　　Vow to meet business deadlines

　　Excellent oral and written communication skills

　　Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

　　Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

　　5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

　　Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

　　Knowledgeable of ERP systems

　　High attention to detail
