Are you a Kitchen Supervisor or Sous Chef ready for the next step in your career?
Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Chef Manager with prior culinary supervisory/management skills and hands-on food production experience to join our team at Benjamin Moore in Flanders, NJ . Additional responsibilities include but not limited to menu planning, catering, food and labor cost, food ordering, preparation and storage, inventory, payroll, client and customer interaction, cash management, safety and HACCP compliance. Ideal candidate will have excellent customer and client communication skills. Final candidate must be able to manage a team and be hands on with all aspect of running a business. This is a Monday-Friday operation service lunch and caterings.
The successful candidate will:
be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
be responsible for all financial activities within the unit
