Responsibilities
Finance:
Assist in developing annual budgets for the projects and performperiodic variance analysesProvide input and review of the pro-forma financial models forgeneration assetsAuthor reports on project performance for investors and lendersAssist in cash flow forecasting and managementPerform financial analyses of aftermarket improvementsDevelop other ad-hoc analyses as neededOperations:
Collaborate with the operations engineering team to evaluate andimprove operational performanceCoordinate with project O&M staff on other operational items,including major component repair and replacementParticipate in contract development with outside vendors, fromsoliciting quotes to participating in final contract negotiationSupport Invenergy\'s construction and development teams by trackingkey pre-operations milestones and deliverables under power purchaseagreements.Support Invenergy\'s operations team by managing pre-operationsdeliverables under project operations agreements.Regulatory and compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and projectagreements including the Power Purchase Agreements, OperatingAgreements, Credit Agreements and Operations and MaintenanceAgreements.Lead dispute negotiations if they arise with contractualcounterparts.Required qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree required.5 years of experience in a similar function and industry, includingbut not limited to finance, accounting, FP&A, commercial management,project management, and consulting in industries such as energy,utilities, construction, manufacturing and real estate required.Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and collaboration skillsExperience writing, negotiating, and managing contractsExcellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the abilityto identify and solve complex problemsDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with standard financial metrics and analyses (NPV, IRR,DCF models) preferredEffective communicator and collaboratorSome travel requiredPreferred qualifications
Experience in the renewable energy industry highly preferred.Master\'s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or EngineeringBenefits
