The role of maintaining and repairing equipment, training props, and components within the State Fire Academy campus falls under the supervision of the Training Services Administrator. This position is responsible for ensuring the functionality of both exterior and interior elements, such as heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as doors, windows, and structural assemblies. The repairs are necessary due to the natural wear and tear resulting from the daily operations and training programs conducted at the academy.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; orFour years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.Necessary Special Requirement:This position requires possession of a valid PA Class C non-commercial driver's license.Additional Requirements:You must be able to perform essential job functions.
