We have an immediate need for a Maintenance Mechanic I that will be willing to work Noon - 8:30pm, Monday through Friday, once they are trained.
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Provide continuous maintenance service for the entire facility.Perform the reactive maintenance (RM) work orders according to the MQ1 schedule.Perform some preventative maintenance (PM) work orders according to the MQ1 schedule.This individual must be able to repair equipment dedicated to the processing of thermoplastics.This individual must be able to identify safety concerns and immediately address these issues with minimal supervision.Follow all departmental Quality Management System (QMS) standard operating procedures and work instructions in accordance with ISO 9001 standardsUnderstand all environmental policies and significant environmental impact of job activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.Adhere to 5S Program requirementsResponsible for safety and cleanliness of assigned work areaActive participation in safety program, which includes mandatory conducting of the required number of audits.Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Must have the ability to: * Carry out all instructions given by the Facilities Manager. * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to operate independently and as part of a team. * Basic command of the English language, written and verbal. * Able to read instructions, labels and manuals * This individual must have formal education and/or work experience in a related field. * Must have excellent communication skills with an ability to multi-task in providing support to various departments within the facility * Must be highly self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision. * A proficient knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems is mandatory. * Production requirements mandate a person who is capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds and who is able to report to work promptly on each scheduled day. * Be able and willing to work overtime and on weekends if necessary. * Must work well with others. * Must have sufficient mathematical aptitude to maintain all necessary paperwork. |
