In additionto joining our mission and making a difference in your community, theYMCA of Metropolitan Chicago offers great perks for all part-timeemployees: Free YMCA membership Employee Assistance Program Earned SickLeave Flexible scheduling Salary range is \$11.00-\$17.00 per hour,flexible scheduling What you\'ll do: Inspect and test equipment andmachinery to diagnose malfunctions and detect problems Perform routineand preventative maintenance such as inspecting motors, belts, replacingfilters, checking fluid levels and maintaining proper pool chemicallevels Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them byreferencing repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary Keep recordsof work assignments Maintain inventory of custodial supplies Maintainproper storage and security conditions of chemical cleaners, equipmentand other inventory Perform other duties assigned. Experience Needed forthis position: Must have a High School Diploma plus specializedtraining, 6+ months maintenance experience. Must be able to read,understand and convey equipment operating instructions. Trade experienceand knowledge highly preferred Ability to learn and operate CMMSapplication and underlying computerized components.
