Description

　　Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is working with a well-established and expanding law firm, with a significant focus on residential real estate conveyancing, is currently seeking a full-time Real Estate Paralegal in the Boston area. This role involves assisting our skilled team with daily closings. The ideal candidate will have prior legal experience in real estate closings in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut.

　　Key responsibilities:

　　Preparation of Closing Disclosure for approval from lender and seller's attorney for purchase/refinance

　　Reconciling funds within closing software (Qualia)

　　Printing closing package with essential ancillary documents for purchase/refinances

　　Recording requisite documents with the relevant registry of deeds via Simplifile

　　Assisting with post-closing disbursements

　　Opening files in shared user drive for purchases, sales, refinances as we receive title orders from vendors and/or signed Purchase & Sale Agreements

　　Retrieving key items from the Registry of Deeds for each file opened

　　Ordering items in anticipation of closings, such as Title Exams, Municipal Lien Certificates, Plot Plans

　　Tracking closing deliverables for all files

　　Handling incoming phone calls

　　Requirements

　　At least 3 years of experience in MA residential real estate, with some commercial experience in RI, CT, and MA

　　Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

　　Open to JD holders or even attorneys

　　Proficiency in using legal software and office applications

　　Ability to multitask and adjust to varying workloads
