All Things Metal is located in North Phoenix near Deer Valley Airport. We are an industry leader in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection in Arizona. We are seeking a maintenance manager to join our team!
Requirements:
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Ability to work outside in the heat
Ability to stand most of the shift
Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
Be able to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, and execute these tasks while maintaining positive interpersonal interactions.
Willingness to learn
Reliable transportation to arrive to the job on time.
Have a basic understanding of electrical, building, and mechanical principles.
Able to sort out priority of tasks and execute them in most efficient manner to optimize productivity.
Able to work in both an office and production environment.
Have a mechanical mindset or proficiently use hand and power tools
Basic computer skills
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage assets in asset management software
Lead manage and hold maintenance/asset associates accountable to company processes and procedures.
Coordinate and execute vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Pre-plan and drive special projects to completion.
Manage department budget.
A day in the life of the Asset/Maintenance manager –
Make sure that personnel on your team have what they need and instructions to execute planned tasks for the day.
Make sure that special projects are approved by upper management in accordance with budgets. Communicate upcoming expenses and budget over-ride approval with Finance.
Procure materials and service providers to execute required repairs, maintenance, and project builds.
Make sure all costs are properly coded to the correct department.
Deal with unplanned break-downs and rearrange and react to accommodate production schedules.
Perform and coordinate smaller/simpler repairs and maintenance.
Maintain service records and make sure vehicles are getting maintained and inspected with our asset management software.
Make sure maintenance personnel are lined out for the next week and have tomorrow’s instructions communicated.
Attend meetings, as required
Benefits:
Salary depends on experience, between $55k-75k DOE
