　　The University of Chicago\'s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology issearching for full-time faculty members at any rank to join our team asacademic Urogynecologists. Appointees will be responsible for providingoutstanding clinical and surgical care to women with pelvic floordisorders. They will actively participate in the education ofUrogynecology fellows, OB/GYN residents, and medical students.Additionally, they will be expected to engage in scholarly activitiesand research to advance the field of Urogynecology. Appointees willprovide consultation and surgical services at UChicago\'s main campus inHyde Park and the River East location in downtown Chicago. Other dutieswill include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, andscholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generouspackage of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.

　　Appointees will join a vibrant and distinguished community of facultycolleagues and learners in UChicago Medicine, the Biological SciencesDivision, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicagoand its affiliates. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and theSection of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgeryfoster aculture of supportive research through mentorship and multidisciplinarycollaborations. We seek confident clinician-surgeons who have a passionfor education and are supportive of and will contribute to our researchmission.

　　Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have amedical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medicallicensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be eligible or board certified inObstetrics & Gynecology and Urogynecology & Reconstructive PelvicSurgery, 4) have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics &Gynecology or Urology, and 5) have completed an ACGME-accreditedfellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.
