Description

We are in search of a Mailroom Assistant to join our team, based in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. The main function of this role is to manage the processing, sorting, and scanning of our mail, ensuring it reaches the relevant parties in a timely manner. This role is part of the administrative sector, and it offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up mail from our office in Plymouth Meeting

• Sort all incoming mail accurately and efficiently

• Scan sorted mail and distribute it to the appropriate parties

• Handle courier services ensuring that mail is delivered to the appropriate destination

• Provide excellent customer service when dealing with customer inquiries

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of all mail transactions

• Manage activities related to check processing

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of one year's experience in a similar role or related field.

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Familiarity with Kronos Timekeeping System.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Access.

• Experience with 'About Time' software.

• Knowledge of Check Processing practices.

• Previous experience in Courier Services is preferred.

• Solid Customer Service skills.

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks.
