POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Sorts, counts, and processes mail as well as other documents received by the projectOperates letter openers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, and other office equipmentPrepares and organizes documents for scanningScans, indexes, and validates documents and ensures quality of imagesRaises issues of concern and/or problems to the attention of the Mail Processing Supervisor/LeadAccurately completes necessary documentation and data entry activities in all systemsEnsures the confidentiality and security of all case informationMeets all standards established for this positionPerforms other duties as may be assigned by management
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificationAbility to follow directionsAbility to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of peopleExcellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environmentAbility to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work as a team member, as well as independently10 key proficiency; experience working with scanning equipment and corresponding software preferred
