POSITION SUMMARY:The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Fabrication Equipment in accordance with company policy and safety procedures. Coordinates job priorities with Team Leader and the Production Supervisor.

　　JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Set-up and operate fabrication equipment, not limited to Core-Drill, Trim Saws, Grinders and CNC Lathe, in accordance with established procedures.Inspects product using proper gauges.Monitor workmanship quality to minimize scrap.Maintain the equipment area in a clean and organized manner.Maintain a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures.Troubleshoot problems and work with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve.Provide and maintain accurate production records.Follow safety procedures and guidelines.Perform equipment maintenance as needed.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessaryOther duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSExperience/Background:

　　2 years' experience in set-up and running of fabrication equipment preferred2 years' experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent preferredCNC experience preferredExperience with tooling and fixtures preferredThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). 　　Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each workday doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb. May have possible exposure to dust and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
