Position Purpose
We’re seeking spirited “can do” people to join our Manufacturing team in the exciting world of hazmat compliance. Experience in silk screen printing production is preferred. This is a fast paced environment and requires a great attitude, attention to detail, punctuality and great quality control. Your ability to collaborate with others, communicate, and be dependable are all crucial for this job and able to stand for the whole day.
Essential Functions
The Silk Screen Press Operator is in charge of securely assembling and running the screen-printing press in accordance with verbal and written instructions. The operator will set up and install screens using a squeegee while always keeping quality in mind. Registering the material to be pressed, watching it, and adjusting as needed to run at the fastest possible pace. When necessary, perform daily preventive maintenance. accountable for producing metal press printing on silk screen of the highest caliber.
Experience/Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent desired
3-5 Years Manufacturing Print Silk Screen Experience Preferred
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Computer Experience
Skills and Attributes We’re Looking For:
Ability to work 2nd Shift (2p-10p)
Monitors equipment during job runs, remains alert to mechanical problems and corrects or refer to maintenance, as necessary.
Follow approval procedures.
Print jobs.
Maintain a clean & neat work environment.
Press clean-up at end of shift
Good attendance
Notify manager of mechanical problems immediately.
Track job time in Computer as required.
Meet production standards for output, waste.
Complete required production quality inspections
Adheres to safety guidelines and keeps workspace clean and organized.
Performs other duties as assigned.
ISO program compliance and support
Other duties/projects as assigned.
