　　Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a Machine Learning Researcher based in Seoul, South Korea. The person will develop algorithms, Machine Learning (ML) / Deep Learning (DL) models, and systems for our research projects focused on autonomy, aircraft manufacturing, factory digitalization, etc. The work scope will also include research on state-of-the-art models in AI.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Develops and maintains Computer Vision-based Machine Learning (ML) models focused on autonomous flight, aircraft manufacturing, or factory digitalizationDevelops ML/DL models operating on our MLOps system that complies with aviation safety requirementsWorks with a principal investigator to decompose and partition system requirements to software requirementsWorks as a member of the international team with the members in one or more countries where English is the common language

　　Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

　　Self-starter and excellent team playerApplicants must have the enthusiasm to learn new technologies and improve their skillsetsMaster's degree with about from 3 to 6 years of work experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or StatisticsEducation or experience in software development/engineeringApplicants must have in-depth knowledge in Machine Learning/Deep LearningCoding experience in more than one programming language (ex: C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Javascript, Matlab, and so on.)This role requires creativity, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skillsProper verbal and written English communication skills

　　Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

　　Good to have in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques applied in autonomous drivingGood to have experiences in developing machine learning model such as anomaly detection, action recognition, place recognition, OCRs, and so on.Good to have proven experience in machine learning frameworks or libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etcGood to have at least an intermediate level of knowledge in server engineering like resource management on multi-GPUs over multiple serversGood to have at least an intermediate level of knowledge in aviation and commercial flight operationGood to have in-depth experience in CV libraries such as OpenCVNice to have field experience on develop and execute manufacturing projects using machine learning techniques to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce downtime, and improve quality.Nice to have winning experience in machine learning or data science competition challengesNice to have publication records in top-tier machine learning or computer vision conferencesNice to have your git repository shared with well-organized projects inside
