The mission of Sunrise Centre of Alpena is to guide those suffering from a substance use disorder from active addiction to quality recovery that encompasses social, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

　　Some Essential Functions Include:

　　Documenting the resident's condition and nursing needs.Administers medications and performs treatments for residents, and documents that treatment as required by Sunrise Centre, local, state and federal rules and regulations.Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner.Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.Is familiar with electronic health records.Performs other tasks as assigned.Assures that inventory and supplies are maintained and the need for housekeeping, maintenance or dietary assistance is communicatedNurses assist with detox admissions and provide patient care support during detoxification process including pre-screening, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, monitoring of patient, administering drugs, medications, treatments, and tests.

　　Preference will be given to someone with Detoxification protocols and substance use disorder treatment experience.
