Description of Duties:The individual in this role will serve as the licensed practical nurse in the crisis stabilization unit. The focus of this program is to provide inpatient, crisis services that support individuals experiencing a mental health and/or substance abuse crisis. The CSU is utilized for individuals undergoing an acute crisis that presents a substantial risk of imminent harm to self or others. The goal is to stabilize the individual through nursing and behavioral supports on a time-limited basis. The role of the licensed practical nurse is to provide nursing care to individuals in the 24-hour CSU as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team. The LPN is responsible for assessing individuals, carrying out doctors orders including medication administration and laboratory draws, and evaluating all treatment provided. The LPNs role includes conducting therapeutic groups and providing documentation that meets the standard level of care on each shift worked.

　　**Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited institution AND current LPN Licensure in State of Georgia. Valid, unrestricted Georgia Drivers License. Must be computer-literate.

　　**Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years experience in Behavioral Health field.
