Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (LogIT IT Infrastructure & Services IPT) in the Digital Analytics Inf. & Tech Adv. Group, Digital Networks & Applications Department, Engineering Solutions Division, Solutions Management Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will make the business and technical management decisions for successful execution of the assigned programs. You will establish detailed initial and long-range LOG IT Portfolio program objectives in compliance with formally established requirements of the Departments of the Defense and Navy, including advocacy of current Acquisition Reforms. You will plan, programs, budgets, and executes LOG IT Portfolio funding requirements. You will manage the execution of LOG IT Portfolio system design, development, test and evaluation, and DATA system support in compliance with objectives from higher authorities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12-13 grade level or DS-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising on strategic matters, management of personnel and coordinating day-to-day operations of a Program Management Office (PMO); 2) Applying project management processes and procedures, including project planning, cost estimation and analysis, budgeting, scheduling, contract administration and systems acquisition; 3) Managing sustainment of complex software projects and applying agile methods and frameworks, including QA testing and expertise with automated testing tools; and 4) Utilizing expert knowledge of software activities for logistics information systems development, implementation, sustainment and Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
