JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bands and tags material with the appropriateidentification information Receives printed customer orders and pullsinventory to prepare orders for accurate shipment Distributes processmaterial to proper production areas (shear, break press, saw, etc.)Loads and secures material onto out-going carriers with proper weightdistribution and proper delivery order Assists with unloading/loading ofmaterial for company and non-company carriers Frequently operates acrane and/or forklift to handle heavy material May drive semi andstraight truck vehicles into specific loading areas to loadcustomer-ordered material Counts, weighs, and records number of units ofmaterial mover to compare numbers with shipping invoice Communicateswith dispatch to adjust customer orders to inventory availability andresolve discrepancies in shipping invoices Prepares and submits reportsas needed Responsible for following all company safety policiesResponsible for wearing assigned/proper personal protective equipmentPerforms other duties as instructed or assigned Load or unload bundlesfrom trucks or move containers to storage bins, using moving equipment.Guide loads being lifted to prevent swinging. Adjust controls to guide,position, or move equipment, such as cranes, booms, or cameras. Attachidentifying tags to containers or mark them with identifyinginformation. Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo andguide loads. Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determinework assignments or material or equipment needs. Record numbers of unitshandled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to read,write, and communicate.
