  POSITION SUMMARY

  We’re growing our teams and business in our newly acquired manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma. This former pet treats factory, bordering Kansas and Missouri–sitting just over an hour away from Tulsa, OK and Springfield, MO–was selected for its current and future pet treats production capabilities and shared commitment to quality and safety. We’re bringing industry-leading knowledge and experience to this venture as we expand our in-house capabilities for dog and cat treat innovation and production. Are you up for the challenge?

  As a Line Leader, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and coordination for assigned operations. You will be responsible for upholding the plant policies and procedures and reporting on and maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. You will ensure the line production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environmental needs, striving towards Manufacturing Excellence.

  The shift available is 7:00PM-7:30AM on a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on). Must be open and available to work nights and/or weekends.

  Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees through engagement in order to strive for zero accidents

  Strive for zero defects through continuous improvement activities in order to reduce quality upsets

  Lead and motivate team in the achievement of their objectives

  Maximize production yields, plan for future capacity, and maintain flexibility in the production operations needed due to the variance of raw materials received

  Drive Continuous Improvement efforts across the plant

  Manage production through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results and use basic problem-solving tools and knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvement

  Assist the Production Manager in the scheduling of the plant, communicating production needs to production supervisors and monitoring overall production performance

  Requirements

  High School diploma or GED equivalent

  2+ years of operational experience in a fast-paced warehouse, production or equivalent environment

  2+ years of leadership experience in a production, warehouse, or equivalent environment

  The approximate pay range for this position is $80,00 to $116,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
