　　Our client is hiring a Contract Specialist III to join their team in Washington, D.C.At least 4 years of experience in the following competencies:

　　Intermediate to expert-level use in Microsoft Excel to include queries, pivot tables, and formulas.Adept at interacting with mid-level managers and executives.Experience with project, program, or portfolio reporting.Proven capability to capture and correct errors and vet details.```{=html}

　　```- Assist the pre-solicitation process for equipment and materials by assembling administrative documentation necessary for procurement actions (i.e., Statement of Work, ICE, DBE).- Initiate and process contract close-out actions.- Process procurement requests.- Prepare acquisition requests and supporting documents from descriptive statements. Follow-up and monitor to award.- Maintain accurate records of procurement actions.- Maintain contract and procurement files on a spreadsheet. Update weekly status report.- Negotiate contract agreements for products and services. Assess contractor performance to identify the need for amendments to existing contracts.- Prepare and edit contracts between the company and potential clients. Develop and implement practical procurement proposals. Coordinate with clients to guarantee terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations.

　　Bachelors Degree in one of the following majors or concentrations: Business, Finance, Management, Marketing, or Economics.Security Requirement:
