  Jumeirah Restaurants is a Dubai-based full-service hospitality provider, with an iconic portfolio of acclaimed homegrown brands, specializing in the innovation, nurture and operation of sustainable food and beverage concepts ranging from premium-casual to quick-service restaurants and casual dining venues. Jumeirah Restaurant’s current owned portfolio consists of nine brands including: The Noodle House, Flow, Pai Thai, Trattoria, The Duck Hook, Hillhouse Brasserie, Butcha and The Bolt Hole.

  In addition to operating its owned venues, Jumeirah Restaurants is responsible for Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts’ dining strategy, acting as a consultative arm for the wealth of exceptional culinary experiences and signature venues across Jumeirah’s portfolio. 

  About the Job

  An opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Assistant Manager to join the team of Human Resources in Jumeirah Restaurants . The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  Collaborate with the Head of Department to ensure alignment with Jumeirah training processes and standards across the business unit, emphasizing consistent practices and adopting identified best practices.

  Assist in planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating training and development activities, adhering to established guidelines.

  Contribute to the completion of the annual learning and development needs analysis, development of the annual training plan, and the annual evaluation of training initiatives.

  Support the achievement of regional and business unit training targets and objectives at Jumeirah Restaurants.

  Conduct effective training sessions on various subjects, emphasizing empowerment, leadership development programs, career, and self-development.

  Conduct departmental training reviews, assess the effectiveness of departmental training and trainers, and offer assistance as needed.

  Regularly meet, coach, support, and motivate departmental trainers of different Jumeirah Restaurants to ensure compliance with on-the-job training requirements.

  Design and develop training sessions based on operational needs within various business units.

  Maintain the Emiratization business objectives, ensuring coaching, support, and access to training opportunities for Nationals.

  About You

  The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  Proficient in English and a second language (Russian, Spanish, German, Arabic or French) would be an added advantage.

  A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in an established hospitality brand.

  A formal certification in a field related to human resources, learning, training, and development or a degree in hospitality is required.
