Our employees are key ingredients to our success, and you will be responsible for HR leadership in the Great Lakes region of our US CS&L Direct Store Delivery (DSD) network, comprising of approximately 400+ employees. You will sit within a business unit and partner with multiple stakeholders to interpret business requirements. With respect to our IL6S strategy, you be responsible to drive 0 losses & 100% engagement through the established People pillar. Your primary stakeholders include, but are not limited to: Core team members, Logistics Branch leadership, DSD COE leadership, Regional Logistics Directors, Supply Operations Excellence team(s).
How you will contribute
You will drive actions, in line with the following People pillar principles:

Partner with Regional Logistics Directors & Logistics Branch leadership to drive execution of business priorities via strategic planning & collaboration.
Lead and advise on talent management practices within assigned business unit related to: workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, talent development, career & succession planning and talent mobility.
Drive engagement in line with the CS&L DSD culture agenda; coach leaders on the key cultural elements and organizational values – being the custodian of high-performance work systems and enable a sustainable learning culture.
Leverage data analytics to drive solutions and decisions that translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy.
Lead change management for initiatives that will positively impact the DSD network.

Demonstrated HR Generalist experience across a range of populations and range of seniority.
Demonstrated experience of delivering change management & results with a unionized workforce.
Proven track record as a trusted, credible business partner with ability to engage, inspire, and influence people.
Demonstrated experience working with Lean Six Sigma methodology to drive high performance.
HR leadership with an active curiosity, insight orientation and external perspective about people and business performance.
Interpersonal savvy, planning, and dealing with ambiguity.
Future focused by thinking ahead and anticipating new opportunities, leverages an outside in perspective through understanding of market trends.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field
8 or more years of Human Resources experience is required
3 or more years of organizational development experience
2 or more years of demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to relate to people in all levels of the organization
2 or more years of Labor Relations experience
Demonstrated experience supporting a unionized workforce
Preferred experience is within Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
Demonstrated ability to positively influence members of the team through insights driven story telling via effective written & oral communication methods.
Demonstrated ability to engage with hourly and salaried colleague
Ability & willingness to travel regionally up to 25-50% of the time
Individual can work remotely, but ideal to be located near Chicagoland area or major airport hub
2 or more years of experience leading and/or supporting Supply Chain professionals would be ideal
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $114,500K to $171,800K; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
