Overall Purpose:
Develops solution architectures for AT&T business customers to address their business, application, and communications needs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The Lead Solutions Architecture role must be proficient in the techniques that go into the formulation of solutions, including collecting customer requirements and assessing solution alternatives based on tradeoffs in cost, performance, reliability and security, and be able to partner with the sales and product teams to recommend the most appropriate solution for the customer.
This requires practical skills and experience with many applications and technologies, and a thorough knowledge of the AT&T Mobility Business product set.
The Lead Solutions Architecture role analyzes a customer’s Mobility account, current offers, contracts, and designs a comprehensive contract solution in consultation with Product and Legal that integrates smoothly into the customer’s current structure.
Must have knowledge of commercial contracts, billing systems, sales cycle, and rate letters.
This is a customer-facing role that requires negotiation skills and the ability to understand and explain contract terms and conditions to sales clients and customers.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously, acts with autonomy in managing workload, and provides leadership in acting on a sales opportunity.
The Lead Solutions Architecture role will lead solution engagements in promoting new services in order to achieve buy-in from the enterprise’s management, seeking to create new opportunities and business relationships.
The Lead Solutions Architecture role must also be proficient in exercising technical leadership which requires the ability to accept responsibility for the success of the customer solution, coordinate resources that are often not directly under their control, and provide the support necessary to ensure overall success.
The Lead Solutions Architecture role demonstrates applied knowledge in the engagement of complex projects which include efforts that require cross-organizational/business partner/multiple customer or multi-vendor coordination.
Demonstrates good written skills to document solutions in proposals to sales clients and customers, and possesses strong verbal skills to be able to present solutions at both working and executive levels.
Demonstrates strong customer interface skills and is technically credible working in a sales environment. Required to maintain a baseline of industry knowledge to advise on technical trends and techniques and apply them to the development of solutions.
Education:
Requires a bachelor’s degree.Experience:
Requires 5-8 years of experience developing or recommending technical solutions.
Requires multiple industry and technical certifications based on solutions that customer requires.

No.Our Lead Solutions Architecture earn between $115,600 - $192,600. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
