A qualified full time Refrigeration/Equipment/Building Maintenance Technician with 3 plus years of experience who is a dependable and detailed oriented to become part of a dynamic team. The individual will be responsible for maintenance and repair on environmental chambers including cascade and single stage refrigeration, electrical, as well as installing new equipment and general building repairs.
1st shift position with a schedule of 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Additional overtime may be required. Saturdays on occasions.
* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:*
Have a working knowledge/understanding of single stage and cascade refrigeration systems.Set up instrumentation such as controllers, data acquisition, etc.Wiring skills and knowledge of 480V, 230V and 120V electrical circuits.Troubleshoot, and repair, various operating systems of refrigeration, electronics, and electro-mechanical components utilizing prints and schematics.General building maintenance, HVAC, welding, wiring, repairs.Equipment Maintenance (Environmental chambers cascade refrigeration)Self-motivated and willing to learn new techniques.Ability to produce as-built engineering drawings after the overhaul of equipment.Ability to work with a team, good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage assigned tasks, meeting deadlines.Demonstrate careful attention to quality and detail.May perform other duties as assigned by management.EPA 608 universal refrigeration certification is preferred.Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.Ability to read electrical and refrigeration schematics.Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and test instruments.Excellent communication skills to be able to interact with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.Knowledge of relevant computer applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point).Ability to climb a ladder with heavy objects.* EDUCATION:*
