What You Will Do
As our Lead PMO Portfolio Analyst you will be responsible for the management of the internal strategic portfolio for the global Neurovascular division and related processes. This Lead PMO Portfolio Analyst will support the Stryker Neurovascular governance processes to select the right projects to invest in and develop and maintain data tools to maximize the benefits of investments. Lead PMO Portfolio Analyst centrally manages the achievement of the PMO's objectives through data analysis, metrics, trending and critical performance indicators. This position will also lead the operationalization of PMO-wide continuous improvement efforts. This position will work closely with cross-functional members and leaders to support portfolio management, optimize the governance process, report analyses, and provide training.
This role offers a hybrid work out of our Fremont, CA office.
3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
Technical Responsibilities:
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to gather data to support data-driven decisions.Provide comprehensive analyses of current and future portfolios using Stryker Portfolio Management systems and reporting tools.Generate data to provide key insights and recommendations to business leaders focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the business to drive growth.Collaborate with key business stakeholders to arrive at strategic portfolio decisions based on business targets and revenue commitmentsDocument decisions in accordance with compliance needs and ensure confidentiality and security of the data.Provide guidance and drive the governance process with cross-functional stakeholders for project and portfolio level data aggregation, reporting and maintenanceMaintain data integrity and train users on key systems used for project portfolio management decisionsLead process improvement initiatives related to the project portfolio planning process, aimed at driving efficient decision making within the organizationBuild productive working relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.Provide training/troubleshooting support on key systems and overall project portfolio management processPartner with the vendors to continuously improve the portfolio management tool.Support various governance meetings to coordinate investment decision and portfolio management processes.Produce regular project and portfolio metric reports using dashboards to measure success and create trends that can drive improvement opportunities.Provide support on resource allocation tools and resource monitoring.
What You Will Need
Bachelor of Science or equivalent & 4+ years of work experience is required
4+ years of experience in Project Portfolio Management, Business or Finance, Strategic Development & Planning, Data management and/or Marketing preferredMBA highly preferredAbility to create innovative analyses and provide key business insightsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsIntermediate PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI skills preferredExcellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills requiredAbility to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelinesAbility to collaborate and work with others in a matrixed environmentExperience in medical devices and/or healthcare industry preferredIntermediate Power App skills preferredPMP or equivalent preferred
$83,000- $176,800 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
