Immediately seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Lead Payroll Accountant for a busy construction company.

　　In order to be considered for this position a minimum of 2 years experience with certified payroll and union reporting is required as well as a four-year college degree in Business, Finance (or Accounting or equivalent experience).

　　Must have excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to multi-task, organize and perform under multiple deadlines.

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Responsible for the performance and completion of the weekly payroll process.Entering and updating employee information in the computerized payroll system files, including general information, withholding, reporting, and deduction files.Responsible for updating and maintaining paid time off accruals and adjustments.Monthly reconciliation of all payroll liability accounts for financial reporting.Overall responsibility for workers comp and general liability reporting and payment.Overall responsibility for workers comp and general liability reporting and payment.Quarterly tax calculation, reporting and payment.Maintains the reconciliation for all employee loans.Processing and maintenance of state tax payments and reporting.Oversee payroll payment and ACH approval.Assist with month-end recurring journal entries as needed.Assists with reconciliation and review of other accounting functions as needed.Assist in preparation for the annual audit of financial statements.Assist in internal audit procedures.Cross-train in other financial areas.Other duties as assigned.This is a full-time position Monday -Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional overtime as needed. Pay starts at $33.94-$41.57 depending on experience.

　　Minimum Requirements:
