　　INITIAL ASSIGNMENT:

　　Transportation Department / 8.0 hrs./day - 5 days/week / Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

　　APPOINTMENT: ASAP

　　SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

　　Possession of a valid Commercial Drivers License - Class B with

　　Passenger (P) & (S) endorsements issued by the State of New York

　　at the time of appointment.

　　Preferred - New York State Heavy Vehicle Inspection License

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Candidates must be a least twenty-one (21) years of age.

　　Graduation from high school or vocational school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and three (3) years of experience as a journey man automotive mechanic; orSeven (7) years of experience as a journeyman automotive mechanic; orAn equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b).GENERAL DUTIES: Vehicle Maintenance and repairs for District Vehicles and Equipment.
