　　Responsible for physical database architecture and design, capacity planning, development, performance tuning, implementation, and support of the applications from a database perspectiveConduct T- SQL Code Reviews to ensure coding standards, best practices and avoid potential performance issuesWork on Writing custom stored procedures, T-SQL queries , PowerShell scripts , views, and triggers based on requirements for DB maintenance and automate tasksJoin bridge SWAT calls to troubleshoot and fix P1(SEV1) and P2 (SEV2) incidentswork on performance tuning like provide suggestions to create indexes and tune stored proceduresExperience on DB DR activity , ensure to bring the DR site online if any outage at Primary siteTroubleshoot recurring problems and fix them permanentlyWork on writing technical and RCA(Root Cause Analysis) documentationMonitor system's high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and securityAnalyse, solve, and correct issues in real timeProvide suggestions for solutionsRefine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesAssist developers with query tuning and schema refinementProvide 24x7 support for critical production systemsPerform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hoursShould have at least 6+ years of relevant experience as a MSSQL Server DBAShould be expertise in handling MSSQL Database Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) requests and IncidentsShould be expertise in trouble shooting the MSSQL DB performance issues at high levelShould be expertise to handle High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR)Should be expertise in AlwaysOn, Replication, Mirroring and TDS technologies in SQL ServerShould be expertise to handle backups, restores and recovery models and day to day workShould be expertise to handling swat calls and on-call supportShould have knowledge on Windows server administration, including Active DirectorySense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's successCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsGood Team player
