This position will include a combination of website development and providing guidance to junior developers. Prepares changes and specifies languages instructions, inputs and outputs, structures, and other analytical products to document the functional and technical requirements. Read and interpret user requirements and translate them into functioning web pages. Collaborate with developers to understand what functions to retrieve and display specific information on the screen or update changes. Specialized experience is defined as providing technical guidance on designing and creating websites using HTML OR CSS OR JavaScript OR Java; and supporting all functions and applying complex IT principles and practices to the Front-End Web development process. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
