Position Summary
As the Lead Director HR Business Partner, you will be directly supporting various business units within the Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness division, you will play a leading role shaping the future of CVS Health's Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness strategies. Your role will be the driving force in translating critical ideas into actionable plans that align with our purpose and can be seamlessly integrated into our everyday operations.
In this role, you will serve a strategic advisor and thought partner to those in the organization that you serve. Your operational expertise and HR knowledge provide a unique opportunity to serve the business in a meaningful way. The ability to connect operational considerations with HR knowledge will allow you to identify areas of improvement, drive efficiency, and enhance overall business performance. By serving as a knowledgeable advocate for HR within the lager operational context, you will help us achieve our strategic goals while effectively meeting the needs of our colleagues.
As a CVS Health Lead Director HR Business, will serve as a liaison between HR and other business units. This role requires the ability to effectively demonstrate lateral leadership, through a combination of interpersonal skills, relationship building, effective communication and strategic thinking. You will have a strong emphasis on enabling data driven business decisions and contributing to the overall strategic HR planning for the organization. Your expertise in both operational practices and HR processes will enable you to effectively navigate the complex intersections between these two areas and consult on initiatives that have a tangible and positive impact on how we work. The Lead Director HR Operations will practice CVS Health's Heart at Work behaviors, HelpingWithHeart Actions, and will lead others to do the same.
To successfully contribute to the overall people strategy the Lead Director HR Business Partner is specifically responsible to:Data Driven Decision Making: Emphasize the importance of using HR data and analytics to inform decision-making processes within the HR Operations department and foster a culture of data driven decision making, where insights and analytics are regularly reviewed and used to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.HR Metrics and Reporting: Greater emphasis on measuring and reporting HR metrics to evaluate effectiveness of HR Operations. Ability to identify key HR metrics and establish consistent reporting mechanisms to track performance and provide business recommendations to improve metrics. Ability to influence leaders to act on the narrative that the data has shared.Strategic Workforce Planning: Incorporate workforce analytics into strategic workforce planning with leveraging COE partners to deliver solutions to key pipeline drivers.Collaborate with Leadership: Building people strategies requires close collaboration with senior leadership. The HR Operations Director will engage in strategic conversations with key decision makers to gain insights into the organizations long term vision and priorities. Aligning the overall people strategies to impact bottom line initiatives driven by our operational partners.Identify Key Partners: Ability to identify key partners within the organization who have a significant impact on HR operations. This list could include Senior Leaders inside the organization all the way to external vendors.Collaborative Problem Solving: Actively engage key partners in collaborative problem solving. Involvement of key partners that require input to drive the decision-making process. This collaborative approach fosters a sense of ownership and ensure HR Operations are well-integrated into the overall business strategy.Be a Trusted Advisor: The ability to position yourself as a trusted advisor by demonstrating expertise and providing valuable insights on HR matters. Be initiative-taking in offering HR Operations Solutions that address the needs and objectives of the business.Business Consultant : Ability to identify key stakeholders and convey knowledge of their business to build trust and understand the leader's objectives. Ability to provide valuable business insights that can help influence the leader to make informed decisions. Strong ability to work towards solutioning with the leader and create a step by process for the desired outcome.Business Acumen: Learn and stay relevant, being a student of the business will put you in the driver's seat for creating strong strategies to mitigate operational red tape for the leaders you interact act with.Continuous Relationship Development: Investing time and effort in nurturing relationships with key partners. The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $227,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
