Job Description Summary

　　As a member of Sourcing Team, you will manage the buying process for Steel/ fabricated steel for the Projects. This role will require you to apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Impact quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Drive the right sourcing strategy for steel / steel fabrication, including tendering, to achieve business objectives of Safety, Quality, Timely Delivery and Cost (SQDC).

　　Your Role:

　　Define sourcing strategy for steel/ steel fabrication/ fabricated steel items.Ensure that accurate and complete hypotheses are taken into consideration in order to win profitable projects at tender phase.At execution phase, conduct negotiations with supplier partners to arrive to best cost positions for the business & project.Place and follow-up on POs. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and strategical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job isciplines.Carry out data study , commodity mapping and study commodity trends to provide future inflation trends. Prepare cost models, inflation tracking model in the process.Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at conclusion.

　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Engineering.This role requires minimum 8 Years of experience in Sourcing/ Procurement (minimum 5 -6 years in the Sourcing / Procurement of steel / fabricated steel).Strong knowledge about the commodity, market dynamics and supplier base.Strategic thinking, data analytics, commodity mapping & its technical evaluation and experience in supplier development.Good commercial awareness (commercial terms).
