POSITION SUMMARY
The Lifestyle Marketing Manager (Partnerships, PR, and Earned media) will be responsible for the regional management and development of our PR, press, partnerships, and influencer strategy in UKI, to support and in partnership with the Global team.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES
Press strategy
Support new launches, new door openings, and key moments for the brand by securing media features and press events.
Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts increasing representation in not only beauty but also interiors, fashion, arts, media and hospitality.
Serve as the main contact for press for manage media inquiries, working closely with Global.
Monitor, create and send press recaps to Global on monthly basis.
Request press materials and content from Global PR team as needed.
Manage all questions, requests, and logistics including PR closet monthly replenishment and events.
Strategic
Educate external agencies and affiliates to ensure we stay true to our brand approach and values.
Maintain a keen understanding of media trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy.
Influencer Marketing & Events
Manage influencer marketing strategy.
Develop monthly target influencer lists for each key market to share with Global, ensuring appropriate gifts are sent to influencers in timely manner.
Work with local markets to organize boutique visits for select influencers.
Organize influencer events according to global guidelines; work with region brand manager and area managers to develop overall event calendar and organize logistics. Attend select events when needed to represent the brand.
Forecast for influencer and marketing quantities (new launches and ongoing creations).
Develop monthly influencer recaps summarizing gifting efforts, events, and social coverage.
Alternative Partnerships
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and product placement and selective sampling on an on-going basis.
On selective basis, identify strong, on-brand concept stores in new/current cities to help seed and grow awareness of the brand. Partnerships activations could include:
Event with a big focus on Le Labo
Gifting editors and influencers through their network
Support the development of a target list of cool restaurants, hotels, and other amenity locations
Hand soap and burning deals
Manage and develop the hand soap and burning deal amenities program, identifying potential partners and sharing with Global, and ensuring the team deliver the full process - including managing client relationships, orders and re-orders, and replenishing inventory.
In markets with local agencies, guide agency teams on how to introduce brand, sign new deals, and maintain/monitor partnerships.
Lead monthly updates, including changes in partners, sales revenue, and units sold to Global team. Manage lists of all key partners
Maintain a keen understanding of the other competitors soap brands and program depending on the different markets.
Corporate orders
Explore and contact potential new corporate partners throughout the year, aligned with the brand image and values. Connect with Global team for approval.
Introduce the corporate gifting guide to markets and key prospective partners. Guide markets through the appropriate process and ensure all prospective partners and discounts are approved before pursuing any orders.
Update corporate gifting guide to reflect current pricing and assortment.
Get monthly updates from markets on any prospective partners and resulting sales.
Process corporate orders for existing amenities partners, media groups, etc.
Amenities program
Look for new, on-brand hotels to partner with and work with Global and our amenities vendor to introduce Le Labo. Manage approvals for local market proposals.
Work on new collaborations / initiatives with key hotel partners (including boutique hotels), liaising with both the hotels and market teams. Stay in close contact with Global on all aspects.
Maintain a keen understanding of hotel amenities trends.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE
Experience in PR, influencer marketing, digital and/or media with a strong lifestyle focus
Strong communication skills, able to build and maintain influencer, press and amenity partners relationships
Business acumen (product, consumers, strategy)
Ability to lead external agencies within international markets
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs and Power Point
Certifications - (Digital-) Communication/ Marketing
