　　Job Description:

　　The LATAM North - Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for ensuring, executing, controlling, and analyzing tax returns and compliance with the applicable law and requirements in Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Panama, and emerging markets. The individual will work closely with the tax, finance, business, legal and trade compliance to provide guidance on tax matters and support the organization's tax operations.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Perform and review tax calculations, collaborating with third-party providers as necessary to prepare federal, state, and local tax returns and deliverables in respective countries. Review and analyze related tax provisions and accruals for financial statements.

　　Independently solve moderately complex issues or projects with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate team members, being the primary contact with external tax services providers.

　　Advise and provide consultation to relevant stakeholders on direct tax/indirect/tax/transfer pricing matters applicable to routine business transactions.

　　Analyze compliance processes utilizing both tax and/or technical knowledge, to identify tax and work process issues in practice to execute in a more efficient manner and minimize tax exposures.

　　Identify opportunities and controversy risks by monitoring legislation, conducting tax related research and analysis requiring a general understanding of tax practices and procedures.

　　Coordinate and/or execute VAT refunds, as well as correspondence and responses related to tax authorities’ inquiries and/or audits.

　　Participate in regular process oversight of KPIs to continuously improve and ensure efficiency.

　　Knowledge and abilities:

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

　　4+ years of progressive experience in taxes.

　　Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

　　Strong command of Office, Excel, Access to cope with big databases.

　　Electronic invoicing or electronic accounting requirements.

　　Experience with Alteryx, PowerBI and similar data analytics tools is a plus.

　　Good communication and interpersonal skills, including networking and teamwork.

　　Advanced fluency level in English (both verbal and written).
