  Stantec’s New York City Landscape Architecture Studio, located across from Bryant Park in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Landscape Architect Project Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of high-end landscape solutions. The successful candidate will support our studio in a design and technical capacity as well as in the day-to-day management of projects from the proposal stage, into design, and through the construction administration phase. Our team has a focus on urban landscape and the successful candidate will work with other diverse professionals such as planners, engineers, and architects in the design of projects in the public and private sectors.

  Your Key Responsibilities

  As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  Managing all aspects of landscape projects, including budget, schedule, scope, quality, and client satisfaction.

  Coordinating and collaborating with internal and external consultants, such as architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and regulating agencies.

  Overseeing production of drawings, specifications, and reports.

  Interfacing with the design team as they develop design concepts.

  Supervising and mentoring junior landscape architects and designers.

  Ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and best practices.

  Ensuring project quality through our Quality Assurance process.

  Qualifications

  Your Capabilities and Credentials

  Familiarity with New York City agency standards and requirements.

  A strong portfolio of landscape design projects, demonstrating creativity, innovation, and technical proficiency.

  Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design and management software.

  Experience in construction administration and on-site construction observation.

  Excellent research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  A positive attitude, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for excellence.

  Education and Experience

  A bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape architecture or a related field.

  A professional license or certification in landscape architecture.

  A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture, with proven project management skills.

  Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

  Salary Range(s):

  $85,900 - $124,600 Min/Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in NYC/NYThe final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

  Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

  Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.

  The benefits information listed above may not apply to union positions because benefits for such positions are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreements.
