Primary Purpose of Job:
Working with Lead Architect and Architectural Technicians to deliver projects in the buildings, wet infrastructure and industrial building sectors. The successful candidate must possess a good level of technical competency in building design from concept to detailed design along with construction support for various Stantec offices (United Kingdome, North America, Middle East, Asia Pacific etc.) gained within the AEC industry. To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading-edge programs and projects.
Support project managers/team leader by providing technical support to ensure that project outcomes in terms of budget, schedule, technical and quality standards, meet both the client and STANTEC expectations.
Key Accountabilities:
Undertake architectural design of STANTEC projects in buildings and water and non-water sectors.
Lead and guide the team for quality delivery.
Undertake detailed QA checks for design, and drawings.
Proactive liaison with regional Clients to manage service expectations and commitments.
Assist in proposal preparation and project presentation.
Contribute to the discipline development.
Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor/management.
Need to work off-hours for client co-ordination: Occasionally.
Complete all work in line with STANTEC Core Values and in accordance with STANTEC Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.

Person Specifications:
Degree/ Master’s (or equivalent) in Architecture.
Should have minimum experience of 15+ years in Architectural design.
Knowledge in Architectural principles, techniques and technical detailing is required to execute the Architectural working drawings to acceptable international standards.
Good experience in using software like Revit, AutoCAD with commitment to continuing professional development.
Experience in Healthcare projects would be an added advantage.
Innovative, result oriented, provide ideas and work on them.
Strong in communication skills (written/verbal) and able to contribute effectively to discipline specific discussions.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact with team members of different disciplines.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player, keen to develop with our growing organization.
Dynamic with good organizational skills and able to multi-task.
Ability to make decisions independently and strong problem resolutions skills
Capable to analyze, assess, evaluate the issues, complexity pertaining to projects / work packages and support the project leads in mitigating them in advance.
Flexible attitude to accepting different work assignments and pro-active attitude to execution / delivery.
Lead teams of Architects on projects, mentor junior Architects and help in team development.
