General Role Description

　　The Laborer is a skilled individual with great hand dexterity and a keen eyefor detail. The Laborer is adept in operating equipment to unload/loaddeliveries to the jobsite. This position strives for continuous improvementwith safety and quality while working in diverse settings to produce steadyand functional infrastructure and products. The individual will also have apassion for continuous improvement, a strong sense of accountability and anability to partner with the project team to optimize safety, quality,schedule, and profitability of the company.This position has no direct reports.

　　Operations:Follow and adhere to procedures, practices, and policies of the departmentConduct repair work on various structuresInstall drywall on metal or wood framing membersAbility to operate tools, machines, and other equipmentMaintain a clean jobsite and lead composite cleanup crews fromsubcontractorsComply to local building codes, and health and safety regulationsDig trenches and backfill holesPerform painting as neededPerform fire caulking as neededFollow instructions from team membersLoad and unload building materialsClean the construction site by removing hazards, materials, and debrisfor the jobsitePerform punch list items that meet a level of acceptance by own clientsTake apart or construct scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structuresAssist craft workers such as Carpenters, Carpenter Helpers, and otherlabor as neededMaintain BMPs as directed by the site SuperintendentProvide excellent customer serviceRecognize constructions terms and distinguish between materials

　　Participate in safety meetingsParticipate in the Stretch and Bend Program dailySet the example for the company's safety compliance and proceduresAssist in maintaining OSHA compliance on jobsiteAssist in weekly jobsite safety meetings, both subcontractor and PalaceRecognize Safety violations and correct immediately
