  Job Description:

  Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses

  Collaborate with both internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executed

  Determine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as needed

  Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions

  Analyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related field

  Preferred Skills:

  Knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN, and/or simulation tools like Arena, CAD, and/or AutoCAD

  Ability to focus, prioritize, and multi-task successfully to drive tasks to closure to support customer commitments and business objectives

  Disposition and analyze production and supplier defects on F35 products

  Verify that all shippable product meets and exceeds customer requirements and specifications

  Interface and collaborate with supplier quality engineering with respect to technical requirements of suppliers.

  Learn ISO9001/AS9100 and Customer Specifications

  Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality controls and analyses.

  Review and approve engineering specifications such as ATPs, drawings, models, manufacturing work instruction for adequacy, quality, and compliance to specification and contractual requirements.

  Present complex and relevant information to leadership

  Generate and drive continuous improvement projects to closure

  Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions.

  Collaborate with both internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and being properly executed.
