  Hajoca Corporation is one of the country's largest privately-held wholesale distributors of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies.   Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what's special about each local marketplace.

  Kohler Experience Center is one of those trade names and is looking for a Store Coordinator at their New York City location.

  Pay for this position is between $18 and $23 per hour at this location.

  Job Description

  Pay: Hourly pay $18.00 up to $23.00

  Shift: This is a 37.5 hour, five day work week including Saturday or Sunday.

  Your Opportunity: Are you looking for a place where you can grow your career? Or perhaps find a workplace you can call home? If so, the Kohler Experience Center wants you to join their team. Store Coordinators work in a professional and team driven environment by greeting customers, managing showroom traffic and daily administrative functions, and assisting with event planning. The Kohler Experience Center promotes an environment of growth, and this role serves as an entry point for someone without previous industry experience to grow into a sales consultant within the company.

  What you can expect in a Store Coordinator role at the Kohler Experience Center

  Answer and screen incoming phone calls to the showroom as well as direct calls to the appropriate personnel when applicable.

  Respond to emails received in the general info email box as well as forward email inquiries to the appropriate personnel when applicable.

  Schedule showroom appointments using Microsoft Outlook calendar.

  Manage the assignment of all lead records through use of Salesforce CRM platform. This includes creating leads for clients who have scheduled appointments by phone or in-person.

  Check stock and set up deliveries on approved, processed sales orders.

  Take payments and place small orders for customers.

  Process customer maintenance record requests.

  Prepare spec book packets to include product images and specification sheets.

  Ensure that Microsoft teams channel entries are up to date and responded to.

  Maintain appearance of product displays to ensure a clean and organized space.

  Create and maintain display sell sheets.

  Upload and post scheduled social media content.

  Receive mail, packages and courier deliveries and distribute them accordingly.

  Perform other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications:

  Energetic personality that can quickly instill confidence in those whom they engage.

  Excellent verbal communication skills to communicate with clients on the phone and in person.

  Proficient computer skills.

  1 years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. They also handle tile and plumbing samples up to 10 pounds and are required to sit and stand throughout their 7.5-hour daily shift.
