**JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Junior System Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the local IT infrastructure and providing technical assistance to end-users for any software/hardware related questions or problems. Expectation is to provide an elevated level of customer service while attempting to resolve issues in a single interaction.
Role requires reporting onsite during normal business hours, Monday through Friday unless otherwise scheduled by management team. Traveling between sites will be required occasionally, so applicant must have their own vehicle. Applicant must be capable of lifting and relocating a variety desktop and server hardware components independently as needed.
A successful candidate will be a self-motivated learner who readily takes on complex tasks, demonstrates a desire to learn from peers and senior staff, resulting in additional responsibility and increasingly complex network and systems administration duties.

Junior Systems Administrator is expected to regularly increase their core competencies with internal knowledge transfer and formal and informal training opportunities.**
Provide excellent customer service to end users - in person or over the phoneUtilize basic troubleshooting skills to identify issues and provide resolutions if possibleRecord critical details in ticketing system and update procedural documentation or knowledgebase as neededUse remote tools to take control of end-user's workstation/laptop to investigate reported problemsEscalate issues that are unable to be resolved within established guidelinesConduct routine maintenance tasks relating to desktop/server system administrationMaintain regularly scheduled work hours with occasional availability after hours as neededAccountability for assigned tasks within specified timelines, producing expected deliverables, etc.Accountability for attendance, PTO (Personal Time Off), Sick Days, etc.Compliance with all mandatory meetings, company events, etc.Any other duties as deemed necessary by direct supervisor or executive managementJob Expectations
