JOB REQUIREMENTS: Emergency Technician - East Madison Hospital - 28941DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule: This is a part-timeposition, .90 FTE, Evening/night shift. 8 and 12 hour shifts between thehours of 3:00pm - 7:30am, every other weekend rotation included. Hoursmay vary based on the operational needs of the department. We areseeking an Emergency Department (ED) Technician to: * Providecompassionate care to patients as they receive treatment in theEmergency Department. * Be one of the first people a patient interactswith and assist with taking blood samples and getting IVs and cathetersstarted. * Utilize state-of-the-art equipment. * Communicate directlywith providers, nurses, patients, patient\'s families, and othercaregivers regarding care for patients. * Record information in theElectronic Medical Record. * Respond to pages/codes and assist asdirected. * Act as an observer for behavior health complaints.
