The purpose of the role is to
· Support commercial oversight on all large Projects across all BU’s in EMEA > 500k.
· Provide support to work with Surveyors to build up quality, reliable Supply Chain in each country, for each discipline. This requires several meetings, to vet for both quality and pricing, to keep CBRE competitive for our clients.
· Support all commercial aspects of large tender project opportunities across EMEA.
· Learn and support monthly commercial reviews of all large Project being delivered across EMEA.
· Assist all Project Personnel as a support QS function for commercial oversight on Project Costs.
· Carryout all Pre-Contract and Post Contract duties outlined in detail below.
Pre-Contract Tasks
· Assess tender documents to ensure enough information available to prepare tender.
· Take off quantities.
· Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt.
· Prepare and issue material supply enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt.
· Complete tender documents for submission
· Prepare specifications and / or Contractors proposals.
· Submit tenders and follow up.
· Assist cost planning and value management during project life cycle.
· Set Up Project Cost Plan for the Project.
· Review and Prepare commercial risk register for each project.
Post Contract
· Provide support to maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-tender and post contract matters.
· Preparation and issue of contractual letters to clients and / or sub-contractors.
· Carry out take offs for material procurement
· Provide support to sub-contract negotiation and awarding.
· Full review of Construction Package, and complete IFT Vs IFC exercise, complying a cost analysis for variations and potential savings for the project.
· Preparation and submission of interim valuations
· Carryout site measurements.
· Support Project teams to manage and value variations.
· Support in reviewing and certification of sub-contractor’s interim valuations and final accounts.
· Preparation and submission of several works final account
Financial Reporting
· Assist to compile Bi-Monthly Commercial reports for Senior Management Team
· Completion of Monthly Project Reviews with Commercial Team
· Support to compile Cashflow for Projects Department for Senior Management Team

Knowledge
· Knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems an advantage
· Broad understanding of construction methods for M&E services
Experience
· College qualification only required but previous work placements would be an advantage
Qualifications
· Diploma Level Qualification in Construction Economics or equivalent
