Description

　　Robert Half is seeking a Senior Software Engineer responsible for playing a leading role on a team focused on the development of software used in Software as a Service (SaaS) based applications, built on a modern .Net tech-stack. This person analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements. Using common programming languages, the software engineer will write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define systems requirements and/or necessary modifications. Experience in object-oriented design, coding, performance tuning, and unit testing. Knowledge of logical data modeling. The role will be about 75% Development, API and Integration and 25% mentorship, scrum master and design / architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and team building skills and be able to participate in software design discussions and guide the architecture of the solution based on good object-oriented design concepts, and both industry standard patterns and Microsoft best practices.

　　Responsibilities

　　Translates business requirements to conceptual solution architecture and high-level project estimates.

　　According to business requirements, develops, modifies, and implements Software as a Service (SaaS) hosted applications.

　　Experience creating and managing web services.

　　Experience with scripting library tools.

　　Knowledgeable of developing software utilizing open-source languages.

　　Logical data modeling design and implementation skills

　　Research, extraction and entry of complex data

　　Participates in peer code reviews and facilitate Scrum Meetings.

　　Requirements

　　10 + Years as a Software Engineer in a professional / corporate setting

　　8 + Years worth of experience in a .Net environment.

　　5 + Years worth of hands-on experience with .Net Core, C#, ASP.Net MVC, Integration and developing API’s.

　　3 + Years of hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies such as Azure, AWS, Etc.

　　3 + Years worth of hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such React, Angular, Vue, etc. – React being highly preferred but not required.

　　2 + years of leading Scrum Meetings as well as mentoring entry level Software Engineers

　　Prior experience in a TDD environment and Unit and Mock Testing

　　The ability to perform proper unit testing and software code written (including automated unit testing)

　　Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with various groups both internally and externally.

　　Exceptional time management skills preferred.
