As an Associate Regional Director in J.P. Morgan Advisors, you will have the opportunity to utilize your talents and leadership capabilities in an inclusive community of Wealth Advisors. You will be instrumental in growing the region by acquiring and developing business opportunities in the local market. Your role will involve providing dedicated business support to Wealth Advisors and their clients, establishing, maintaining and building relationships, and delivering exceptional client service. You will also be involved in all activities that touch prospective and existing clients.
Job responsibilities:
Provide support the Regional Director in directing and leading the branch to acquire and drive business opportunities in the local market
Partners with the Banking & Investment product specialists to ensure full capabilities of the firm are packaged for Advisors to bring to clients
Interacts with Advisors on an advanced level regarding sales activities, account information, procedures, systems and range of financial services products
Prepare the agenda, topics and materials for sales meetings
Partners with the Regional Director on recruiting and acquiring external Advisors and teams
Manages risk and ensures the broader organization is protecting the interests of the firm while enhancing the client experience
Understands and adheres to our risk management processes, policies and tools
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Series 7, 9, 10, 66 and SIE licenses required within 120 days from start
Proven ability to be a self-starter and work independently in a high-pressure environment
Works well in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to proactively recognize and anticipate client needs
Demonstrate proactive follow-up and follow through on a task from start to finish
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and maintain professionalism in difficult situations
Will need to be adaptable and comfortable with change (will need to keep up with changes in technology and regulations)
Highly proficient user of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
7+ years of management or relevant experience within the financial services industry as a sales practice leader and/or assistant branch/regional manager
